“Home”

This film is part of my Artist in Space project and includes video footage from China of 2002 and 2011 made by my father, and footage from 2025 made by me.  It is an experimental film researching my relation to my birth country through this footage and written text. The film explores the concept of home through the lense of the diasporic adoptee experience.  Questioning what or who makes home and if that is always enough?


The editing of the film was done during a residency period at Kunsthuis Syb.
